About Homewell
We started because families deserve a steadier foundation
Homewell exists to make the informational and administrative side of family life a little less daunting — and a good deal more organised.
Back to HomeOur Story
Founded on a simple observation
Homewell came together in Chiang Mai after its founders noticed a consistent gap: families facing moments of change — relocation, a shift in household structure, an accumulation of paperwork — often had no clear starting point for understanding their options or getting their records in order.
Rather than filling regulated roles that belong to qualified professionals, Homewell chose a different path: offering plain, informational talks on communication and family dynamics, and providing quiet, practical support for the administrative side of household management.
Since opening our doors at 16 Ratchadamnoen Road, we have worked alongside expatriate families, long-term residents and local households who simply wanted someone to sit with them in the early stages of sorting things out — without jargon, pressure or overreach.
The name Homewell reflects what we are working toward with each family: not a perfect household, but a well-functioning one. Somewhere calmer to come home to.
What guides us
Unhurried clarity
We never rush a conversation. Understanding a family's situation well means listening first, and speaking only when it adds something useful.
Honest scope
We are clear about what we do and do not do. When something falls outside our scope, we say so openly and point toward appropriate professionals.
Practical warmth
The people who come to us are often in the middle of something difficult. We try to bring steadiness to that — not formality.
Quiet discretion
Everything shared with Homewell stays with Homewell. Personal household information is handled with care at every step.
The People Behind Homewell

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
These are the practices that shape every session and support engagement at Homewell.
Information-only delivery
Every session is framed as educational sharing, not professional advice. We are precise about this distinction and reinforce it throughout each engagement.
Personal information protection
We follow clear data handling practices. Nothing shared in a session or administrative engagement is passed to third parties without explicit permission.
Plain-language communication
We avoid jargon in all our materials and sessions. If a term needs explaining, we explain it — every time, without impatience.
Onward referral readiness
When families need something beyond our scope — legal support, financial guidance, regulated counselling — we maintain an up-to-date directory of reputable Chiang Mai providers.
Administrative accuracy
Our document and household administration work follows a structured review process to ensure filing systems are logical, consistent and easy for all family members to use.
Ongoing review of our approach
We revisit our session materials and support frameworks regularly to keep them grounded in current best-practice information and relevant to families living in Thailand.
Family information and household support in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai draws a diverse mix of residents — long-term expatriates, families relocating for work, Thai households dealing with changing circumstances. What many of them share is a need for straightforward, accessible information at the moments when household life becomes more complex than usual.
Homewell's Relationship Information Seminars give attendees a grounded, non-prescriptive overview of communication patterns within families and couples. The sessions draw on well-established frameworks from the fields of family studies and interpersonal communication, presented without clinical terminology and without any intention to replace regulated professional support.
Our Document Organisation Support is built around a simple premise: a household that can find its important records is a household that functions more smoothly. Whether that means sorting paperwork into labelled physical folders or establishing a shared cloud structure with clear naming conventions, the result is the same — less time searching, less stress during already demanding moments.
The Household Administration Service extends this further, creating shared contact lists, routine reminder systems and logistical frameworks tailored to how a particular family actually lives. It is the kind of quiet infrastructure that most households assume they will set up eventually — Homewell simply makes it happen.
All of Homewell's work is conducted in English, making it accessible to the significant expatriate and international resident community in northern Thailand. Sessions take place at our office on Ratchadamnoen Road in the Phra Sing neighbourhood of Chiang Mai, a short distance from the old city centre.
